ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Hello Home Interior Design is a boutique interior design studio based in San Diego founded by Geena Pearson. She specializes in crafting stunning kitchen and bathroom spaces that are both functional and beautiful. With two decades in the field, Geena’s multifaceted experience and passion for design led her to establish her own residential design practice. Her calm demeanor and positive attitude ensure a stress-free design process, making it enjoyable for clients navigating the complexities of interior design.

Geena’s design philosophy is simple: a home should be functional, yet beautiful. She creates unique, layered, and inviting environments that reflect the distinctive personalities of her clients. Her designs are not only visually appealing, but are also practical and comfortable and feel like home. She strives to design spaces that envelop you in a sense of warmth, comfort, and relaxation, making you smile and feel welcomed. Our tagline, ‘Welcome Home,’ reflects our commitment to creating environments that truly feel like a sanctuary.

Known for her distinctive use of materials and playful application of tiles, colors and patterns, Geena transcends the boring to the brilliant. With a meticulous eye for detail and ability to understand her clients’ needs, she envisions each home as a unique reflection of its owner. She believes that every home, like every person, is one-of-a-kind, which fuels and inspires her creative process, leading to designs that seamlessly blend her clients’ personal preferences with her own unique design aesthetic.

While running a small business, she is also CEO of her family, has a major soft spot for old homes and currently working (& will forever) on her own 1936 Upright & Wing fixer upper, Mohawk Haus, in sunny San Diego, California.
