DEL CERRO RANCH

A pretty little ranch house in Del Cerro was under a major overhaul and needed our help with materials, hardware, & finishes. A poorly built bonus room that was off the living room was ripped out and the back of the house that had a bedroom & the kitchen were demolished. This new plan created a primary suite for a very busy single mama of 2 beautiful girls, a brand new open concept kitchen & family room, plus a spacious, yet cozy, outdoor space just off the family & living rooms where the bonus room once stood.

 

One request from our client was to keep the colors and materials classic and to have longevity because she wasn’t planning on doing this again! Blues & greens were in her preferred color palette, which are our favorite colors, so we had no problem getting this right the first time around. The kitchen came out fresh and bold without being overwhelming. The herringbone backsplash will never go out of style, but we made it feel more modern with the elongated subway tile and its variation of blues. The large format, creamy white flooring gives the deep green/blue island some stature while grounding the space.
